Morrow-Davison wedding

Toni Rebekah Davison and Jonathan Robert Morrow were united in marriage on Saturday, June 24, 2017.

The bride is the daughter of Phillip and Tammy Davison, and the granddaughter of Kay Davison and Priscilla Walker Fissel, all of Berkeley Springs, and the late Alden Davison and Curtis Walker.

The groom is the son of Carol Morrow of Sandy Lake, Penn. and Rodney Morrow of Jackson Center, Penn.

The ceremony and reception were held at the Purple Iris in Martinsburg. Chris Flickinger, minister of the Greensburg (PA) Church of Christ, officiated the ceremony, with Bible passages read by Roland Shambaugh, Jr., Clarence McDowell and Ed Floyd.

Rick Rohn presided as Master of Ceremonies for the reception and the blessing was offered by C.L. Walker.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents in a drop waist fit and flare Allure gown featuring a strapless sweetheart neckline, fitted bodice with intricate beading and a full flared skirt and train with Chantilly lace appliques. She wore a fingertip length veil accented with matching Chantilly lace. Her “something old” was her maternal grandmother’s sapphire necklace incorporated into her bouquet of white hydrangeas, coral roses, seeded eucalyptus, baby’s breath, peach hypericum and peach mini gerberas, her “something new” was her wedding attire, her “something borrowed” was a silver bracelet belonging to Toni Leslie and her “something blue” was a traditional blue garter.

Bridal attendants were matron of honor Rachel Corsale, bridesmaids Cassidy Davison, Kortni Shambaugh, Sarah Govern and Aleisha Rees; junior bridesmaids Brooke Davison and Grace and Caroline Walker and flower girl Riley Walker.

Attendants for the groom were best man Mike Gilliland and groomsmen Dave Bauer, Danny VanDyke, Ryan Hitchcock, and Matt Sopher and ring bearer Jackson Davison.

Prenuptial events included a shower given by the bride’s attendants and family at the home of Priscilla Walker Fissel, another shower given by the ladies of the Berkeley Springs Church of Christ and a rehearsal dinner for the bridal party hosted by the groom’s family at Angus and Ale in Berkeley Springs.

The bride is a 2012 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and a 2017 graduate of Seton Hill University. She is currently employed as a Physician Assistant for Med- Express in the Pittsburgh area. The groom is a 2006 graduate of Lakeview High School, a 2010 graduate of Westminster College and a 2015 graduate of Seton Hill University. He is currently employed as head coach for cross country and track and field at Chatham University in Pittsburgh. The couple is now residing in Pittsburgh after a honeymoon in Virginia Beach, Va.
