Sheriff KC Bohrer reports the following calls, investigations and reports for January 7-20:

January 7

Cpl. Lemon investigated a threats complaint on Round Hill Circle.

Cpl. Lemon investigated a missing husband from Weller Lane. Located.

Cpl. Lemon investigated a credit card fraud from the 5100 block of Valley Road.

Deputy L. Shambaugh responded to a verbal domestic on Myers Trail. Wife decided to leave.

January 8

Captain Stapleton investigated a fraud at a business on Valley Road.

Chief Walter and Deputy Jenkins responded to a suspicious vehicle at Sheetz. Homeless subject. Provided shelter to subject for night.

January 9

Chief Walter responded to an animal in highway on Valley Road. Secured with owner.

Chief Walter assisted Berkeley Springs Police with a possible suicide.

January 10

Sheriff Bohrer responded to an abandoned vehicle on U.S. 522 South. Towed due to roadway hazard.

Captain Stapleton investigated a larceny at CEC Inc. on Potomac Road.

Chief Walter responded to a domestic on Alicia Lane.

Cpl. Barney investigated pornography case at Warm Springs Middle School.

January 11

Cpl. Lemon investigated terroristic threats on Ridersville Road.

Deputy Link arrested Matthew Deyarmin, 29, for failure to appear on grand larceny and forgery warrants. Extradited from Pennsylvania.

Deputy Link arrested Garland Miller, 37, for felony fleeing and eluding. Extradited from Virginia.

Cpl. Lemon responded to a 911 hang-up call on Green Street. Advised juvenile of law pertaining to false emergency calls.

Lt. Place responded to a fatal ATV collision on River Road. Private property. Stood by.

Cpl. Barney assisted with a student with mental health issues at Warm Springs Middle School.

Cpl. Barney assisted with an unruly student at Warm Springs Intermediate School.

January 12

Sgt. Shambaugh investigated two destructions of property at Catawba Club.

Deputy L. Shambaugh investigated a burglary on Lady Slipper Lane.

Lt. Place assisted Berkeley Springs Police with a traffic crash.

January 13

Deputy L. Shambaugh responded to a two-vehicle crash on Martinsburg Road.

Felony arrests two, traffic citations 21, traffic warnings 12, criminal investigations nine, traffic collisions investigated one, alarm one, transports three, legal process served 36, legal process/warrants attempted 23, home confinement checks seven, home confinement hookup one, home confinement suitability, investigation one and complaints not needing a report 22.

January 14

Sgt. Shambaugh and Deputy Jenkins investigated a death and also a concealing deceased persons body on West Ridge. Jenkins arrested Crystal Crawford for bond revocation and Sgt. Shambaugh charged her with concealment of deceased human body.

Deputy Jenkins assisted state police on a complaint on Highland Ridge Road.

January 15

Captain Stapleton and Chief Walter responded to a suicide call on Cacapon Road. Unfounded.

Captain Stapleton investigated a child custody complaint.

Captain Stapleton investigated a fraud complaint.

Deputy Jenkins investigated a crash on Paw Paw Road.

Deputy Jenkins investigated a crash on Culp Road.

Chief Walter responded to a welfare check on Cacapon Road.

Chief Walter handled a domestic on Spohrs Road.

January 16

Deputy Jenkins investigated a single vehicle crash on Culp Road.

Sheriff Bohrer investigated a single vehicle crash on WV 9 East.

Captain Stapleton arrested Audrey Zimmerman, 27, for obstructing an officer.

Deputy Jenkins responded to disabled vehicle on Potter Road.

Deputy Jenkins responded to an alarm on Audubon Road.

Deputy Jenkins responded to suspicious activity on Rouse Mountain Road.

Chief Walter and Sheriff Bohrer attempted to locate card skimming suspects.

Sheriff Bohrer handled a child custody issue on station.

Sheriff Bohrer and Chief Walter attempted to locate subjects on WV 9 East from a Berkeley County incident.

Chief Walter handled a domestic on Blazer Lane.

Chief Walter handled a trespassing on Householder Road.

Cpl. Barney worked with two “Handle with Care” children from incidents recently occurring.

Cpl. Barney performed a welfare check on a child where parent had been arrested.

Cpl. Barney handled a complaint on a bus driver.

Cpl. Barney responded to a report of a traffic crash involving a school bus. False report.

Cpl. Barney responded to a disabled vehicle complaint on River Road.

Cpl. Barney responded to a vehicle crash on Culp Road at River Road.

Cpl. Barney responded to a vehicle crash Warm Springs and Fairfax.

Sgt. Shambaugh investigated a one car crash on Fairview Drive.

Sgt. Shambaugh and Sheriff Bohrer responded to a possible breaking and entering in progress on Quaint Acres Lane. Unfounded.

Sgt. Shambaugh and Deputy Jenkins responded to a burglary report on Rouse Mountain Road. Owner saw something on remote camera. All secure.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a disabled vehicle call on Potter Road. Vehicle assisted.

Deputy Jenkins responded to an alarm on Audubon Road. Multiple false activations. Unfounded.

January 17

Chief Walter investigated a single vehicle crash on Waugh Road.

Chief Walter and Sheriff Bohrer arrested Johnathan A. Zimmerman, 38, for possession with intent to deliver heroin.

Deputy Roper extradited and arrested Clinton Coleman, 28, on outstanding warrants from circuit court. Underlying charge is delivery of a controlled substance.

Deputy L. Shambaugh responded to an alarm on Nichole Lane. All secure.

Lt. Place responded to an alarm on Fairview Drive. Secure.

Lt. Place investigated a two-car crash on Cacapon Road. Two injuries and DUI charges pending.

Cpl. Lemon responded to an alarm at Berkmore Place. Secure.

Cpl. Lemon responded to a domestic on South Washington St. GOA.

January 18

Cpl. Lemon investigated a battery on Lofty Lane.

Chief Walter, Sheriff Bohrer, Captain Stapleton and Deputy L. Shambaugh arrested Kevin R. Cain for outstanding warrants for felony charges from Hampshire County.

Cpl. Barney handled a welfare check at Warm Springs Intermediate school.

Deputy L. Shambaugh responded to found property complaint at Berkeley Springs Motel. Unfounded.

Deputy L. Shambaugh investigated a grand larceny of guns on Golden Lane. Civil issue.

Deputy L. Shambaugh responded to an abandoned vehicle on River Road at Crone Road. Towed vehicle.

Deputy L. Shambaugh responded to a domestic on Harrison Avenue. Verbal.

Deputy L. Shambaugh responded to an abandoned vehicle Spohrs Road at Martinsburg Road. GOA.

Deputy L. Shambaugh and Lt. Place responded to backup state police for domestic at Twilight Lane.

January 19

Deputy L. Shambaugh arrested Edward E. Wright, Jr. 26, for bond revocation.

Cpl. Lemon investigated a runaway complaint on High Rock Trail.

Deputy L. Shambaugh investigated a child abuse on Dixie Trail.

Cpl. Lemon investigated a contributing to delinquency of a minor on Johnson’s Mill Road.

Sheriff Bohrer and Deputy L. Shambaugh responded to a domestic on Amazing Grace Lane.

Cpl. Barney handled a welfare check at EarthDog Café. All was well.

Cpl. Barney handled a welfare check at Warm Springs Intermediate School.

Cpl. Barney investigated a minor sending nude pictures complaint.

Deputy L. Shambaugh responded to an alarm on Cold Run Valley Road. Canceled.

Cpl. Lemon investigated a credit card fraud on Duckwall Road.

Cpl. Lemon responded to suspicious circumstance call on Wilkes Street. Options advised.

January 20

Deputy L. Shambaugh responded to a crash on WV 9 at Berkeley County line. In Berkeley County.

Deputy L. Shambaugh and Tony Link responded to a domestic on Palm Lane. Options provided.

Deputy Tony Link responded to an alarm on Magnolia Road. All secure.

Cpl. Lemon responded to suicidal threats call on Martinsburg Road. EMS handled.

Cpl. Lemon responded to suspicious circumstances call on Johnson Mill Road. Under investigation.
