Indivisible group to host ACLU talk

As part of its nationwide “Let People Vote” campaign, the nonpartisan American Civil Liberties Union — whose membership has increased fourfold during 2017 — is sending a representative to Berkeley Springs on Wednesday, January 24.

Mollie Kennedy, ACLU’s Community Outreach Coordinator, will explore upcoming issues in the West Virginia Legislative session and suggest ways to speak to and influence the Senators and Congressional representatives.

Kennedy also will discuss voter mobilization for the 2018 midterm elections, including ways to engage with people of any party affiliation.

The event will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Ice House building in Berkeley Springs.
