Recent sentences from Magistrate Kermit Ambrose:

Thomas E. Bowman, 61, of Winchester, Va. was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation after pleading guilty to DUI. All but 90 days of the probation was suspended. Bowman must also pay a $100 fine and $240.25 in court costs and fees.

David M. Stonebraker, 50, of Slanesville must pay a $250 fine and $165.25 in court costs and fees after pleading guilty to passing a school bus that had activated its warning lights.

Recent sentences from Magistrate Debra Ditto:

Justin S. Peer, 26, of Berkeley Springs was sentenced to 30 days in jail after pleading guilty to DUI, first offense. Peer will serve the jail time through 240 hours of home confinement. He must also pay a $200 fine and $260.25 in court costs and fees.

Larry G. Barney, 70, of Berkeley Springs must pay a $100 fine after pleading no contest to violating the Morgan County Salvage Yard Ordinance. He must also pay $165.25 in court costs and fees.
