Sheriff KC Bohrer reports the following calls, investigations and reports for December 10-16:

December 10

Deputy L. Shambaugh investigated a breaking and entering on Eppinger Road.

Deputy Jenkins investigated a destruction of property on North Laurel Avenue.

Deputy L. Shambaugh arrested Anthony Padinha, 24, for possession of controlled substance and parole violation.

December 11

Captain Stapleton investigated a sexual assault allegation at Berkeley Springs Center.

Sheriff Bohrer arrested Kara Brady, 20, for being a fugitive from Maryland.

Deputy Lebo responded to an EMS assist on Amazing Grave Lane. Suicidal male. Charges pending for obstructing law enforcement and EMS.

Sgt. Shambaugh responded to a disabled vehicle on Valley Road. Assisted.

December 12

Cpl. Barney investigated three cases of minors possessing child pornography at Berkeley Springs High School.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a juvenile complaint on Flowing Waters Lane. Spoke with parents.

Deputy Lebo and Jenkins responded to a domestic on Fairbee Road. Non-domestic. Verbal harassment.

Cpl. Barney investigated a threats complaint on Facebook at Warm Springs Middle School.

Sgt. Shambaugh assisted a disabled vehicle on Fisher’s Bridge. Towed.

December 13

Cpl. Lemon arrested Ryan L. Swisher, 38, for petit larceny.

Captain Stapleton arrested Michael N. Sullivan, 36, for a capias from family court.

Chief Walter handled a petit larceny on Eppinger Road. Domestic in nature.

December 14

Deputy Roper investigated with and assisted WV Alcohol Beverage Control Agents with selling alcohol to persons underage on a sting operation. Two employees from two businesses were cited for violations.

Cpl. Lemon investigated a one car crash on Magnolia Road.

Cpl. Lemon arrested Thomas C. Manning, 25, for probation violation.

Deputy Roper handled a custody dispute on station.

Chief Walter investigated a possession of controlled substance on Martinsburg Road.

Chief Walter investigated a burglary on Gokey Lane.

Cpl. Barney investigated an inappropriate internet access at Berkeley Springs High School.

Cpl. Barney responded to a welfare check on Magnificent Lane.

December 15

Deputy L. Shambaugh responded to a possible breaking and entering in progress on Clone Run Road. Subjects on property interrupted attempting to steal gas. GOA.

Cpl. Barney investigated an alcohol to minors issue.

Sgt. Shambaugh investigated a domestic on Waterfront Drive between two juveniles, eight and nine years old. Referred to PRO Cpl. Barney.

December 16

Deputy Lebo investigated a sexual assault on Waugh Road.

Deputy Lebo responded to Rite Aid for an unwanted person. Appears to be a mental health issue.

Deputy Lebo responded to a complaint of people driving on airport runway. Private property having an event. Not a police matter.

Sgt. Shambaugh responded to a roadway hazard on Jimstown Road. Removed by towing company.

Misdemeanor arrests seven, felony arrests two, traffic warnings 11, traffic citations 11, criminal investigations 23, traffic collisions investigated one, alarms nine, transports six, legal process/warrants attempted 19, legal process served 37, home confinement checks four, home confinement hookups one, home confinement drug test one and complaints not requiring a report 26.
