Sheriff KC Bohrer reports the following calls, investigations and reports for November 12-18:

November 12

Deputy Roper investigated a larceny at Ben’s Bistro on Williams Street.

Deputy Roper responded to a brandishing call on Sisk Valley Lane.

November 13

Chief Walter and Sheriff Bohrer investigated sexual battery on Williams Street. Continuing investigation.

Sgt. Shambaugh responded to a well-being check at Morgan Square.

Cpl. Barney responded to a gun call near Catawba Club. Located subjects, toy gun.

Deputy Lebo responded to a deer v. car crash on Henry O Michael Road. Animal put down.

November 14

Lt. Place investigated a domestic on Cold Run Valley Road.

Chief Walter investigated a crash on River Road.

Chief Walter responded to a welfare check at Sleepy Creek Campground. Handled by medic unit.

Deputy Jenkins investigated an overdose death on Wild Rose Court.

Sgt. Shambaugh responded to a verbal domestic on Cold Run Valley Road.

Deputy Lebo responded to shots fired call on Old Mill Manor. Advised of options.

Deputy Lebo responded to a suicidal female at Sleepy Creek Subdivision.

Deputy Lebo responded to a domestic on Carrie Lane. Family dispute.

November 15

Cpl. Lemon arrested Jonathan D. Britner, 37, for worthless checks.

Chief Walter assisted state and town police with fugitive apprehension Taylor Sipe at Greenway Cemetery.

Deputy Roper and Chief Walter responded to an overdose and subject missing on Dehaven Road. Bloodhound “Sam” deployed and located victim. Transported to hospital.

Deputy Roper investigated a two vehicle crash on WV 9.

All officers trained and received new body camera systems.

November 16

Deputy Roper investigated a two-car crash on Valley Road.

Lt. Place investigated an unattended death on Salem View Lane.

Cpl. Lemon responded to a deer strike on Timber Ridge Road. Animal put down.

Court Officers, employees and officers received active shooter training block.

Captain Stapleton handled a domestic report on station.

Deputy Lebo responded to a vehicle v. deer crash on Martinsburg Road.

November 17

Cpl. Barney investigated a possession of alcohol at Berkeley Springs High School.

Deputy L. Shambaugh arrested Aleigha J. Cox, 20, for delivery of controlled substance and possession of heroin on Hancock Road.

Deputy L. Shambaugh investigated the delivery of controlled substance on Green Street, Berkeley Springs. Arrested James A. Brooks, 23, for possession with intent to deliver heroin.

Deputy L. Shambaugh arrested Randy W. Cubbage, 40, for DUI.

Deputy Lebo arrested Amanda E. Powers, 27, for possession with intent to deliver controlled substance and conspiracy to deliver controlled substance.

Cpl. Barney and Deputy Jenkins with K9 placed Berkeley Springs High School on lock down and performed K9 search. Controlled substance found. Cited juvenile.

November 18

Deputy Lebo investigated a one car crash on Waugh Road.

Deputy Jenkins assisted Washington County Sheriff’s Department with an investigation in Morgan County.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a 911 hang-up call on Coughlin Lane. Juvenile counseled.

Deputy Lebo responded to a hit and run collision on Concord Avenue.

Deputy Lebo investigated a theft from vehicle on Pious Ridge Road.

Felony arrests three, misdemeanor arrests two, traffic citations 28, traffic warnings eight, criminal investigations 12, traffic collisions investigated five, alarms responded to eight, transports one, legal process served 31, legal process/warrants attempted 19, home confinement checks 12, home confinement drug tests two and complaints not reported 63.
