Paul E. Reynolds, Sr.

1948-2017

Paul Edward Reynolds, Sr., age 68, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at his home.

Born December 21, 1948 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Paul Aloysius and Margaret Teresa Mockabee Reynolds.

He was a Christian. Paul attended public schools in Washington, D.C. He first worked with the Red Barn restaurant chain in the D.C. Metro area and then as a manager with High’s Convenience Stores from 1971-1993.

He enjoyed computer games, riding four wheelers with his grandchildren and staying in close contact with his family and friends. Paul especially enjoyed his outings with his dear friend Herbie “Buddy” Day.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Lee Reynolds and his wife Nicole, of Berkeley Springs; four brothers, Michael Thomas Reynolds of Arcadia, Fla., Richard “Ricky” Reynolds of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Terry Hoff of Golden Beach, Md., and Frank Hoff of Tampa, Fla.; his grandchildren, Whitney Nicole Reynolds and Trenton Christopher Reynolds, both of Berkeley Springs and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Paul Edward Reynolds, Jr. on March 6, 2012 and one brother, George Hoff.

The family received friends from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Services and interment will be private.
