Students craft pottery for Empty Bowls event

Warm Springs Intermediate School students made colorful, whimsical pottery again this year with art teacher Marianna Ruggiero to serve as soup mugs for the Morgan County Starting Points Empty Bowls Benefit. The event will take place this Friday, November 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Berkeley Springs High School and features homemade soups in take-home handmade artisan or communitycrafted bowls along with a silent auction and door prizes. Empty Bowls proceeds benefit the Starting Points Mealtime Community Kitchen and the Morgan County unit of the Boys and Girls Club of the Eastern Panhandle. photo by Marianna Ruggiero Warm Springs Intermediate School students made colorful, whimsical pottery again this year with art teacher Marianna Ruggiero to serve as soup mugs for the Morgan County Starting Points Empty Bowls Benefit.
