Lady Indians defeat Paw Paw and Keyser to end regular season

The Berkeley Springs High School Lady Indians Volleyball Team traveled to Paw Paw for a tri match with the Lady Pirates and the Keyser Lady Golden Tornado on Tuesday, October 24.

In the first match, the Lady Indians won in two sets over Keyser 25-20 and 25-22. This was the Lady Indians second win of the season over Keyser.

In the match, the Lady Indians won in two sets against the Lady Pirates. In game one Berkeley Springs won 25-20. In game two Berkeley Springs rolled to a 25-12 win.

“Both victories were a total team effort. The girls played with confidence and I enjoyed watching them play as a team tonight. It was great to finish the season with two victories. We went 3-2 over the last two weeks and the team is coming together. Our practices have been sharp and we have some momentum going into the sectionals against Keyser,” stated Berkeley Springs head coach Les Morris.

The Class AA Sectional championships started on Monday, October 30 at Frankfort.
