Sheriff KC Bohrer reports the following calls, investigations and reports for October 22-28:

October 22

Sgt. Shambaugh responded to a verbal domestic on Meandering Lane.

October 23

Sheriff Bohrer responded to a suspicious vehicle call on Winchester Grade Road.

Chief Walter responded to a horse in the highway on Valley Road. Horse secured by owner.

Captain Stapleton investigated an altered document case.

Cpl. Lemon responded to a harassment complaint on Crawford Lane.

Cpl. Lemon responded to domestic on Pious Ridge Road. Verbal only. Advised of options.

Cpl. Barney investigated an incorrigible student at Warm Springs Intermediate School.

Cpl. Barney investigated multiple (30) truancy cases in county. Pending.

October 24

Cpl. Lemon investigated a three-car crash on WV 9 east. Property damage only.

Lt. Place investigated a failure to report a traffic collision on River Road.

Sheriff Bohrer and Captain Stapleton responded to a terrorist threats complaint at Reed’s Pharmacy. Subject located and advised of his verbal indiscretions.

Captain Stapleton investigated a trespassing complaint.

Cpl. Lemon responded to assist Berkeley Springs Police with an intoxicated subject on Union Street.

Cpl. Barney investigated an incorrigible student at Warm Springs Intermediate School.

October 25

Lt. Place responded to a neighborhood dispute on Harrison Avenue. Advised of options.

Sgt. Shambaugh responded to a deer strike on Valley Road. Animal humanely dispatched.

Cpl. Barney assisted CPS on home visit.

October 26

Deputy Lebo investigated a two-car crash, property damage on Waugh Road.

Deputy Jenkins investigated a crash on Hancock Road. Crash was property damage only and he issued one citation.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a drunk driver on Hancock Road. Arrested Christopher W. Rodgers, 36, for DUI 3rd offense.

Cpl. Barney investigated a sexual harassment at Warm Springs Middle School.

Sheriff Bohrer arrested by summons Brittany Kerns for driving suspended and revoked for DUI.

Sheriff Bohrer and Chief Walter investigated a destruction of property in Great Cacapon.

Sheriff Bohrer, Chief Walter, Deputies Jenkins and Lebo assisted Department of Health and Human Services CPS in removing three children on Big Oak Tree Lane.

Captain Stapleton assisted probation officers in probation checks. Assisted in arrest of Zachary E. Rider, 32, for probation violation.

Sgt. Shambaugh responded to a deer strike on U.S. 522 North.

Cpl. Barney investigated a student using school resources for pornographic purposes at Berkeley Springs High School. Pending.

Cpl. Barney investigated a sexual harassment at Warm Springs Middle School. Pending.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a poaching complaint on Culp Road. Referred to Natural Resources Police.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a medic assist call on Unger Store Road.

October 27

Sheriff Bohrer and Chief Walter assisted in handling security detail at Senator Manchin Town Hall meeting.

October 28

Cpl. Lemon investigated a one car crash on WV 9 east. Property damage only.

Sheriff Bohrer, Cpl. Lemon and Deputy Lebo responded to an attempted arson and assault on Outpost Lane. Cpl. Lemon is handling investigation with charges pending.

Sheriff Bohrer responded to an erratic driver on Valley Road. Subject located and cited for reckless driving.

Cpl. Lemon responded to a suspicious vehicle call on Milo School Road. Referred to NRP Police.

Cpl. Lemon assisted Berkeley Springs Police with vehicle search on Congress Street.

Cpl. Lemon responded to a domestic on Jim West Road. Verbal only. Advised of options.

Felony arrests one, misdemeanor arrests two, traffic citations 18, traffic warnings three, criminal investigations 18, traffic collisions investigated three, alarms responded to four, transports two, legal process served 18, legal process attempted eight, home confinement checks four, home confinement revocations one and complaints non-reportable 39.
