Morgan County runners Logan Heironimus and Dominic Tanouye qualify for state championships

Despite no team title for either Berkeley Springs High School or Paw Paw High School on Thursday, October 19 at the Region 1 A/AA Cross Country Championship both teams will be sending an individual to represent them at the Class A/AA State Cross Country Championships this coming week at Cabell Midland High School on Saturday, October 28.

Berkeley Springs senior Logan Heironimus who has always peaked at the state cross country championships will look to cap his senior career off with a state place finish. Heironimus finished in 15th place with a time of 18:04 at the Championships.

Paw Paw freshman Dominic Tanouye will make his first appearance at the state cross country championships after his 19th place finish at the regional meet. Tanouye was able to finish the 3.1 mile course in 18:17 to punch his ticket to Cabell Midland for the Pirates cross country team.
