Sheriff KC Bohrer reports the following calls, investigations and reports for October 8-14:

October 8

Chief Walter assisted with traffic at fatal crash on Winchester Grade Road.

Sgt. Shambaugh investigated a battery complaint at War Memorial Hospital.

Sgt. Shambaugh responded to an overdose call at Sleepy Creek Campground.

Sgt. Shambaugh responded to some shots heard call on Timber Ridge Road.

Deputy Jenkins handled a protective order.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a missing person on Hardwood Street. Located subject.

Deputy Jenkins and Lebo responded to suspicious activity on Oak Forest Lane. Unable to locate.

Deputy Lebo responded to a missing person complaint on Fox Hollow Trail. Subject located.

October 9

Captain Stapleton investigated a traffic collision on Mountain Run Road.

Captain Stapleton investigated a two-car crash on New Hope Road.

Captain Stapleton handled a complaint from fire department reference to a fuel spill on WV 9.

Captain Stapleton handled a motorist assist on WV 9.

Cpl. Barney investigated a suspicious package at Board of Education.

Deputy Roper investigated a minor in possession of alcohol on Mellon East Road.

Deputy Roper responded to a civil dispute on Fox’s Hollow. Advised of options.

October 10

Sheriff Bohrer investigated an attempted grand larceny, trespassing and destruction of property at Ridersville Cycle.

Captain Stapleton investigated an EPO violation.

Chief Walter performed a K9 track for suspects at Ridersville Cycle.

Cpl. Barney investigated threats complaint at school.

October 11

Deputy Jenkins investigated a possession of controlled substance on Apple Orchard Circle.

Deputy Jenkins arrested Christian M. Netwal, 50, DUI and possession of marijuana.

Chief Walter responded to an alarm on Pious Ridge Road.

Sgt. Shambaugh investigated a single vehicle crash on Martinsburg Road.

Cpl. Barney handled an underage tobacco complaint at school.

Deputy Jenkins responded to an overdose on Stillhouse Lane. EMS treated.

Deputy Lebo investigated a crash in the 5000 block of Martinsburg Road.

October 12

Sgt. Shambaugh investigated a burglary on Persimmon Tree Lane.

Deputy Jenkins investigated a child neglect on Timber Ridge Road. Arrested Tommy Britt, Jr., for child neglect.

Lt. Place investigated a battery complaint.

Lt. Place and Deputy Jenkins responded to a missing elderly person. Located prior to arrival.

Cpl. Barney investigated a destruction of property complaint at gym.

Deputy Jenkins and Lebo responded to a domestic on Blazer Lane. Advised of options.

Deputy Lebo responded to a fight at Union Chapel, Valley Road. Two females fighting over funeral arrangements.

Deputy Lebo investigated a crash on Cacapon Road.

Deputy Lebo responded to a missing juvenile on Ewing Street. Juvenile located and returned.

Deputy Lebo responded to a reckless driver complaint on North Washington St. Vehicle stopped and appropriate action taken.

October 13

Cpl. Barney investigated a battery complaint at Warm Springs Middle. One juvenile, 11, arrested for battery.

Deputy Roper responded to a property dispute complaint on station. Advised of options.

Deputy Roper handled a mental hygiene order.

October 14

Cpl. Lemon investigated a two-car crash on Valley Road with injury.

Cpl. Lemon responded to an EMS assist on Cacapon Road. Eleven-year-old transported for mental hygiene evaluation.

Deputy Roper assisted Martinsburg Police with a death notification on Ewing Street.

Deputy Roper handled a traffic hazard on South Washington Street.

Felony arrest one, misdemeanor arrests three, traffic citations 18, traffic warnings 25, criminal investigations 15, traffic collisions investigated eight, alarms responded to eight, transports three, special details 11, home confinement checks five, legal process served 20, legal process attempted two and complaints non-reportable 48.
