Breast Cancer Awareness month



Barbara Bailey, Cancer Awareness Representative for Morgan County and a member of Morningside CEOS, took the certificate to the Commissioners on October 4 to be designated October as Cancer Awareness month in Morgan County. After the signing several Morningside Members and Sharon Bishop hung the Annual Wreath at the courthouse. Bailey, a cancer survivor herself for nearly 15 years, has been working with the Cancer Programs since she was a teenager and following in her mothers footsteps in representing the programs. Bishop a twice survivor of this disease starting 23 years ago. They recommend self examination. The earlier this disease is detected the better chance of surviving it.
