Freshman Wolves run their record to 6-2

“This is one of the best games we played as a team offense and defense,” stated Mark Rockwell.

The Freshman Wolves defeated Hedgesville Blue 54 to 25, Jackson Rockwell ran for 187 yards and three touchdowns on runs of one, 14 and 15 yards.

Shaun Cutlip had two touchdowns on runs of 11 and 21 yards.

Landen Schetrompf followed that up with three touchdowns of his own with a 14 yard run and two pass receptions of 50 yards and 19 yards. He finished with 74 yards receiving and 18 yards rushing.

Rockwell also had a 24 catch yard. Cutlip threw for 101 yards on the day and rushed for 84 yards. The extra were scored by Rockwell, Cutlip, Schetrompf and Hayden Harper.

The defense side of the ball making tackles were Cutlip seven, Kyle Moore, Isreal Lincoln and Jayden Michael with three, Rockwell had three, Camden Barney, Brian Ailor and Christian Bermanski each with two.

The Wolves play this Saturday, October 7 at Marcus Field in Ranson, 132 Athletic Way. They play the Bears at 2 p.m. with the J.V. at 3:30. The Varsity plays at 5 against Hedgesville Gold on same field.

J.V. lost their game against the Hedgesville Blue 52-6 Their record is 2-6. No stats available.
