BSHS Golf finishes 7th in Region I Championships

The Berkeley Springs High School Indians Golf Team saw their season come to an end at the Class AA Region I Championships last Monday, September 25 at the Green Hills Country Club in Fairmont.

The Indians were led by freshman Jordan Miller who shot a 93. Freshman Carson Stotler finished with a 94, senior Ayden Lackey finished with a 96 and freshman Cole McClintock rounded out the scoring with a 117.

As a team Berkeley Springs finished in seventh place in the 11 team tournament.

Fairmont Senior captured the regional championship with a team score of 242 while East Fairmont finished in second place.

The Indians got some redemption to build on for the future as they finished ahead of Frankfort and Keyser who are PVC rivals.

Fairmont Senior 242, East Fairmont 252, Grafton 253, North Marion 256, Petersburg 259, Weir 264, Berkeley Springs 283, Frankfort 289, Keyser 293, Philip Barbour 295 and Oak Glen 321.
