Golf team picks up two wins

Th Berkeley Springs High School Golf Team found some much needed success on the links as they recorded a pair of wins.

The Indians traveled to Whitetail Golf Course for a contest with the Clear Spring Blazers on Tuesday, September 19. The Indians, as a team, shot a 195 to easily outdistance the host Blazers who finished with a team score of 258.

Leading the way for the Indians were freshman Jordan Miller (46), senior Ayden Lackey (47) and freshman Carson Stotler (48). Miller was the low medalist for the event. Berkeley Springs also got performances from freshmen Cole McClintock (54), Tyler Clark (62) and Graham Lindsey (65).

The Indians hosted Grace Academy at the Cacapon Resort State Park Golf Course on Thursday, September 21. The Tribe picked up their second win in a row as they shot a team score of 203 to outdistance Grace Academy’s score of 252. The Indians were led by Lackey (49) McClintock (50), Miller (51), Stotler (53), Lindsey (69) and Mitchell Shives (69).

The Indians traveled to the Green Hills Country Club in Fairmont, for the WV Class AA Region I Championships Monday, September 25.
