Golden and the Lady Indians dominate Quad

Host Musselman along with Hedgesville and Jefferson rounded out the teams competing.

The Lady Indians dominated the competition scoring 23 points to run by Musselman (52), Hedgesville (62) and Jefferson (73).

Leading the way for Berkeley Springs was senior Stephanie Golden who took top honors with a time of 22:44. Finishing in second place was junior Brooke Davison (22:50) and hot on her heels was freshman Belle Harvey in third place in a time of 22:50.5. Junior Alex Banks was fifth with a time of 25:13. Taylor Mason (12th place, 26:28), Kaitlyn Griffin (21st place, 28:46), Kayley Brinegar (24th place, 30:56) and Hannah Moran (26th place, 31:57) rounded out the scoring for the Lady Indians.

Musselman (38), Jefferson (39) and Hedgesville (65) were the top three teams.

The Indians were led by senior Logan Heironimus who finished in second place with a time of 18:43. Jeremiah Torres (19th place, 21:19), Logan Zimmerman (22nd place, 22:10), Dylan Wise (23rd place, 22:12), Landen Riggleman (26th place, 22:59), Matthew Slovinsky (31st place, 23:36) and Dylan Carder (34th place, 24:13) rounded out the scoring for Berkeley Springs.

Both cross country teams participated in the Progress Invitational held at Alleghany High School Tuesday, September

26, when they traveled to Cumberland, Md.

Next up for the runners is the Potomac Valley Conference held at the new Cacapon State Park course on Tuesday, October 10, 4 p.m.
