PASS Program awards two scholarships

The PASS Program (Providing Academic & Self-Esteem Support), a mentor program sponsored by Morgan County Schools awarded two $1,500 scholarships to two Berkeley Springs High School students in May.

Destiny Bohrer and Corbin DuBois were the recipients. This is the second year PASS has awarded scholarships.

Bohrer is studying Biology at West Virginia University and DuBois is attending Blue Ridge and studying Criminal Justice.

To qualify for a PASS Scholarship, a Morgan County High School senior must graduate from high school, and apply to any trade school, vocational school or college.

The student must have been in the PASS Program with a PASS Mentor at least one year of their school career.

The PASS Scholarship is supported by donations from PASS Mentors, community volunteers, private citizens and local businesses.
