Sheriff KC Bohrer reports the following calls, investigations and reports for March 23-29:

July 23

Cpl. Lemon arrested Walter F. Painter, III, 23, for possession of less than 15 grams of marijuana.

Deputy Shambaugh investigated a burglary on Oak Forest Lane.

Cpl. Lemon responded to a reported breaking and entering on Oriental Circle. Landlord tenant issue.

Cpl. Lemon responded to a home confinement issue on Briarwood Circle.

Deputy Shambaugh responded to an intoxicated subject call at hospital. Subject cited for public intoxication.

July 24

Sgt. Shambaugh arrested Charles M. Shives, 31, for a failure to appear warrant.

Sgt. Shambaugh investigated a single vehicle crash on WV 9.

Sgt. Shambaugh responded to a reckless driving complaint on Fairfax Street.

Cpl. Lemon responded to a deer strike on Winchester Street. Animal dispatched.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a juvenile complaint on Blazer Lane. Advised subject of options.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a juvenile complaint on Cameron Terrace. Advised caller of options.

July 25

Sgt. Shambaugh arrested a 17-year-old juvenile for probation revocation.

Sheriff Bohrer assisted Berkeley Springs police on a traffic stop and wanted person arrest at the intersection of WV 9 and U.S. 522.

Sgt. Shambaugh investigated a crash involving a deer on Independence Street.

Sgt. Shambaugh responded to an elderly disoriented subject on Mill Farms Trail. Located subject and provided transport to safe location.

Deputy Lebo responded to a domestic on Oriental Circle. Verbal only.

Deputy Lebo responded to a deer strike on Pious Ridge Road.

Deputy Lebo responded to a report of a loud explosion on Woodmont Road. Unfounded.

Deputy Lebo responded to a noise complaint on Apple Orchard Circle. Unfounded.

Deputy Lebo responded to a disturbance on Laurel Avenue. Landlord tenant dispute.

July 26

Deputy Lebo arrested Duoc Tranh, 47, for DUI 1st offense.

Sheriff Bohrer arrested Jentry Meade, Jr., 26, for burglary two counts, transferring stolen property two counts and conspiracy two counts.

Sheriff Bohrer arrested David Yost, 76, for violation of the precious metal laws by purchasing jewelry without keeping records.

Sheriff Bohrer investigated and recovered stolen property from Virginia on Gravy Lane.

Sheriff Bohrer investigated a recovered stolen property from Yost’s Bicycle Shop on North Washington Street.

Cpl. Lemon responded to a property complaint issue Moose Club.

July 27

Sheriff Bohrer arrested Justin Hargett, 26, for burglary two counts, transferring stolen property two counts and conspiracy two counts.

Captain Stapleton arrested Nathan W. Watson, 24, for probation violation.

Cpl. Lemon responded to an overdose call on Fairview drive. EMS refusal.

Cpl. Lemon responded to a reckless driving complaint on Valley Road.

July 28

Sheriff Bohrer arrested Tina M. Mills, Hancock, Md. for possession of CDS.

Deputy Jenkins arrested Leah E. McDonald, 31, for uttering a forged check capias.

Sgt. Shambaugh investigated a destruction of property on Valley Road.

July 29

Sgt. Shambaugh responded to some shots fired call on Posey Hollow Road. No violation of law.

Sgt. Shambaugh responded to a stolen horse call on Spriggs road. Unfounded.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a juvenile complaint on Fairview Drive. Caller advised of options.

Citations 26, written warnings nine, felony arrests 15, misdemeanor arrests four, process served 28, process attempted 10, alarms three, transports eight, traffic collisions two, criminal investigations seven, home confinement checks eight and complaints not requiring a written report 54.
