Chamber of Commerce elects board and officers

At its recent annual meeting, the Berkeley Springs- Morgan County Chamber of Commerce elected five members to serve two-year terms on the board of directors. Three of the members are new: Terri Beard, Blue Flame Inc.; Donna Burdock, Gat Creek; and Jennifer Maghan Bircher, Black Dog Coffee Company. Current board members elected to another two-year term are: Tracy Lord, CNB Bank and Dayna Spielman, Berkeley Springs Water Company.

At a previous board meeting, Thom Rubel, Morgan Arts Council, was appointed to fill the remaining year of Lorraine Canoles’ two-year term.

Board members continuing their terms are Doug Mattingly, STS International; Johnny Henderson, Somatic Energy Therapies; Tammy White, Kesecker Realty, Inc. and Jeanne Mozier, Star Theatre.

The newly inducted board met to elect officers. They are Jeanne Mozier, President; Thom Rubel, Vice President; and Tracy Lord, Treasurer. Mozier had previously served as the Chamber’s first female President in the early 1980s.
