Indivisible meeting July 9 about health care reform

Morgan County Indivisible will offer a hot and timely topic on Sunday, July 9, 5-7 p.m., when Dr. Matthew Hahn tells the group “Everything You Need to Know about Health-Care Reform.” His presentation will move from the past, to the present, to how we can get to a future where everyone has good health care in America. There will be time for questions and answers afterward.

Dr. Hahn, a local family physician, is author of the newly published Distracted: How Regulations Are Destroying the Practice of Medicine and Preventing True Health Care Reform and previous author of, Staying Alive: The Signs That You Have to See a Doctor Right Now.

The July 9 meeting--in the Ice House Building Theater, corner of Mercer and Independence streets—is scheduled a week later than usual because of the Independence Day holiday. The meeting runs from 5 to 7 p.m.

Morgan County Indivisible, one of thousands of such groups throughout the U.S., is nonpartisan. Its members welcome everybody interested in peaceful action to hold elected officials accountable. The goal: make government work for all citizens, especially those who feel left out of the political process.
