June 11

Deputy L. Shambaugh investigated a domestic battery, Valley Road.

Deputy L. Shambaugh investigated a shoplifting at Roy’s Service Center.

Cpl. Lemon investigated an unattended death, Over Hill Lane.

Cpl. Lemon investigated child abuse, Healthy Way.

Cpl. Lemon responded to a welfare check, Valley Road, assisted female.

Cpl. Lemon and Deputy Roper assisted WVSP with a domestic, Stillhouse Lane.

Deputy Roper responded to a be on the lookout for speeding vehicle, Valley Road from Frederick County, Va. Sheriff’s Department. Vehicle located and cited.

Deputy Roper investigated a 911 hang-up call, Bobcat Drive, unfounded.

Deputy Roper investigated a one car traffic collision with injury, Powerhouse Road.

Deputy Roper responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint, Concord Avenue, unfounded.

Deputy L. Shambaugh investigated a domestic, Independence Street.

Deputy L. Shambaugh reported to an injured deer, Martinsburg Road. Animal humanely dispatched.

Deputy L. Shambaugh responded to a drunk driver complaint, Hancock Road, unfounded.

June 12

Deputy Roper investigated a two-car property damage traffic collision, River Road. One citation for failing to maintain control of vehicle.

Cpl. Barney investigated a breaking and entering, Waugh Road.

Cpl. Barney investigated a solicitation of a minor.

Captain Stapleton responded to an alarm, Burnt Mill Road, unfounded.

Captain Stapleton and Cpl. Branham, WVSP responded to disorderly subjects, Johnsons Mill Road. WVSP arrested one subject for warrants outstanding.

Cpl. Lemon and Deputy Roper investigated a destruction of property, Kuykendall Lane.

Cpl. Barney handled a trespassing complaint.

Cpl. Barney handled a property complaint.

Deputy Jenkins responded to an intoxicated subject at Berkeley Springs State Park, unfounded.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a drunk driver report, Valley Road. Nothing found.

June 13

Deputy Jenkins arrested Elaine C. Buettner, 34, for obstructing, destruction of property, disorderly conduct and public intoxication after responding to a welfare check on subject at the Cacapon Bridge.

Cpl. Barney handled a property complaint, Valley Road.

Cpl. Barney handled an abandoned vehicle complaint, Spohrs Road.

Cpl. Barney responded to a cow in the highway complaint, River Road.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a one vehicle traffic collision with a deer, Martinsburg Road.

June 14

Deputy L. Shambaugh investigated an unattended death, Quaint Acres Lane.

Lt. Place investigated a domestic at Cacapon State Park.

Captain Stapleton investigated a possible stolen vehicle.

Cpl. Lemon investigated a domestic, Amelia Street, Paw Paw.

Cpl. Lemon handled trespassing complaint at Berkeley Springs State Park.

Deputy Roper investigated a suicide threat call, Spiceberry Lane, unfounded.

Deputy Roper responded to a suspicious vehicle call, Valley Road, unfounded.

Deputy Roper handled a property dispute call, Winchester Grade Road.

June 15

Deputy Jenkins arrested Brian K. Golden, 48 years old, for DUI, possession of controlled deadly substance and an outstanding parole warrant.

Sheriff Bohrer investigated a two car property damage collision, Dawson Lane.

Cpl. Lemon handled animals in roadway complaint, River Road.

Deputy Roper responded to an alarm, Murphy Road, all secure.

Deputy L. Shambaugh responded to an animal in roadway complaint, River Road, notified owners.

Deputy L. Shambaugh investigated a two car traffic collision in front of Tractor Supply. Non-reportable.

June 16

Deputy Jenkins and Sheriff Bohrer responded to a breaking and entering in progress, Holly Hill Lane, unfounded.

Deputy Jenkins and Sheriff Bohrer responded to an overdose, Stillhouse Lane.

Lt. Place and Sheriff Bohrer responded to a drunk and disorderly subject in the Berkeley Springs State Park. Subject removed and cited for public intoxication.

Lt. Place responded to an alarm, Mauzy Road, all secure.

Deputy Roper responded to a suspicious vehicle call, Buzzard Acres, unfounded.

Cpl. Lemon investigated a one vehicle property damage collision, Winchester Grade Road.

Cpl. Barney responded to a welfare complaint in the Pleasant View area. Male subject taken home.

Cpl. Barney handled a disabled motorist complaint, Harrison Avenue.

Cpl. Barney handled a neighbor dispute at Shenandoah Floors.

Cpl. Barney assisted Berkeley Springs Police with a subject who fled from a traffic collision scene.

Cpl. Barney investigated a breaking and entering, Waugh Road.

Cpl. Barney investigated a solicitation of a minor.

Deputy Jenkins investigated a traffic collision, Martinsburg Road.

Deputy Jenkins investigated a traffic collision, Martinsburg Road.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a welfare check at Catawba Apartments, no police action taken.

June 17

Cpl. Barney responded to a reckless driving complaint, Washington Street, unfounded.

Cpl. Barney responded to a domestic, Kuykendall lane, parties removed.

Cpl. Barney investigated a potential suicide threat with Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department on Facebook.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a harassment complaint, Stillhouse Lane. Parties advised of options.

Deputy Jenkins responded to a traffic collision, Cacapon Road. Occurred in Hampshire County. Referred to WVSP Romney.
