Sheriff KC Bohrer reports the following calls, investigations and reports for May 8- May 13:

May 8

Deputy Luke Shambaugh investigated a domestic battery on North Washington Street.

Deputy Lebo arrested Albert W. Watters, 36, as a fugitive from justice.

May 9

Lt. Place investigated an attempted arson at Warm Springs Middle School. Investigation and charges pending.

Cpl. Barney investigated a failure to send child to school at Warm Springs Middle School.

Deputy Luke Shambaugh investigated a possession of controlled substance on Truman Street. Arrested was Jasmine L. Caldwell, 21, for possession of controlled substance.

May 10

Cpl. Barney investigated a possession of tobacco at Berkeley Springs High School.

May 11

Deputy Jenkins arrested Kevin Cordell, 28, for two counts of possession of controlled substance.

May 12

Cpl. Lemon investigated a shoplifting at Rite-Aid.

Deputy Luke Shambaugh and Chris Roper arrested Jonas D. Fultz, 36, for obstructing an officer and battery on a police officer and Carrie M. Rhea, 30, for obstructing an officer.

May 13

Cpl. Scott Lemon investigated a sexual abuse on Given Lane.

Cpl. Lemon arrested Jonathan K. Carroll, Sr., 39, for a capias.

Sheriff K.C. Bohrer and Ptlm. Tony Link investigated a possession with intent to deliver controlled substance on U.S. 522 and Rt. 9. Arrested was Zachary Q. Campbell, 24, for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Citations 19, written warnings 14, felony arrest one, misdemeanor arrests three, process served 23, process attempted 11, alarms six, transports three, criminal investigations 10 and complaints not requiring a written report 24.
