Plant fair is Motherffis Day tradition

Daughter Deborah Heavener and mother Wanda Fisher, both of Berkeley Springs, celebrated Mother’s Day weekend by attending the annual Plant Fair together on Friday, May 12. “We do this every year,” Heavener said, as she was choosing a colorful Gerber Daisy from one of the vendors. The plant fair event on Friday and Saturday in Berkeley Springs State Park was hosted by the WVU Extension Office and the Morgan County Master Gardeners. Vendors sold flowers, vegetable plants and garden accessories both days. photo by Trish Rudder Daughter Deborah Heavener and mother Wanda Fisher, both of Berkeley Springs, celebrated Mother’s Day weekend by attending the annual Plant Fair together on Friday, May 12. “We do this every year,” Heavener said, as she was choosing a colorful Gerber Daisy from one of the vendors.
