Bird Walk at Eidolon

The Potomac Valley Audubon Society will sponsor a spring birding event on Sunday, May 7 at the Eidolon Nature Preserve in Morgan County.

The event is free and open to everyone.

Participants should meet at the preserve parking lot inside the gates at 7:30 a.m. This annual event offers a good opportunity to see a variety of migrating and year-round birds before trees are in full foliage.

The highlight of the walk is the chance to see and hear the beautiful Cerulean Warbler, a species of concern, that finds Eidolon an ideal site for spring nesting.

The walk will be led by Jon Boone and Janet Ardam, two experienced leaders.

No pre-registration is needed.
