Boy’s Tennis Team finishes second at PVC

What has already been a great season on the tennis courts for the Berkeley Springs High School Indians Tennis program got even better this past Friday, April 28 at Keyser. The Indians brought back three PVC Tennis Championships. Senior Trevor Nelson (#2 singles) and sophomore Dylan Carder (#3 singles) each captured individual titles. While junior Caleb Stotler teamed with sophomore Matt Rubeck to capture the #3 doubles title.

The Indians also got a second place finish from #1 singles senior Alec Martin. Martin also teamed with sophomore Ben Michael and finished in second place in #2 doubles. Carder and Nelson the #1 doubles team for Berkeley Springs also finished in second place.

The Indians lost to Keyser in the championship final by a score of 11-10. The Indians and the Lady Indians tennis team will now travel to Fairmont this Thursday, May 4 and Friday, May 5 for the Class AA Region I Tennis Championships.
