Relay For Life

Dear Editor:

“Relay For Life” of Morgan County is about empowering survivors to fight back against cancer. “Relay For Life” represents our hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be honored and that one day cancer will be eliminated.

The event begins with a survivor lap in which cancer survivors take a victory lap around the track. Survivors are the proof that we are winning the battle against cancer. We need you to help us celebrate life.

Join us on June 10 for opening ceremonies at Widmyer track in Berkeley Springs at 6 p.m. This year’s 2017 Honoree Survivor is Kenny Sims. Sims is a 13 year cancer survivor.

Go the distance and join the hundreds of participants making a difference funding vital support services (many right here in Morgan County) and America’s most promising cancer research. It’s free to the public.

For more information call Sharon Schmeling at 304- 582-0095, Misty Clingerman at 301-988-7317 or Buffy Bradley at 304-261-1664.
