Willa Hahn presents senior voice recital

Willa Hahn will present her senior voice recital on June 21 at 7 at the Hancock Community Center.

She has been studying voice since she was 11; first with Pat Springer of Berkeley Springs, and then through high school at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts in Hagerstown.

Besides several classical numbers, she will take a trip down memory lane as she sings some musical theatre numbers from “Little Shop of Horrors” and “Secret Garden,” some as duets with a few old friends.

The recital is open to the public and light refreshments will be served.

In addition to graduating high school with high honors this spring, Hahn was also crowned Miss Potomac Highlands and will compete in the Miss West Virginia pageant in early July.

As part of its mission, contestants in the Miss America Scholarship Organization pageants are asked to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Donations will be accepted at the recital. Call 304-258- 0168 for more information.
