Janet M. Glascock
1952-2019
Janet Marie Glascock, age 67, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Born April 13, 1952 in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of the late James E. and Margaret T. Fehlner Vollbach.
She was a Christian.
She graduated from Clarkston High School in Clarkston, Mich. She attended James Rumsey Technical Institute and studied accounting.
She worked for the A and P in Hancock, Md., for 18 years. She was a secretary for ABG Orchards from 1995 until 2019.
She enjoyed gardening, canning and being with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Albert B. Glascock at home; one daughter, Amy M. Glascock of Berkeley Springs and one son, Jason B. Glascock of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; three sisters, Claudia Herring of Winchester, Va., Nancy Walkowski of Clarkston, Mich., and Diane Ladwig of Washougal, Wash.; three grandchildren, Courtney L. Glascock, Hunter Hovermale and Jaylynn Glascock; two step grandchildren, Ali Hovermale and Idalis Hovermale,; four step great-great-grandchildren, Rylee Joiner, Ryett Joiner, Kylie Morris and Teagan Ford. And many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Vollbach.
Family received friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 36 S. Green Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Funeral Services were conducted at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jack William, Hiles, Jr. Burial will be private.
