Registered voters who are interested in running for public office in 2026 must file paperwork as an official candidate by this Saturday, January 31. 
State and county election offices will be open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon to receive candidate filings.
As of press time, the following individuals had filed in the Morgan County Clerk’s office to run for non-partisan office:
