Big dead tree removed on Green Street

On Tuesday, December 16, Truax Tree Services removed a large, aging maple tree on Green Street that had been recently deemed a public hazard by the Tree Board and Town Council.

The tree had been dropping large limbs onto the sidewalk and street, posing significant risks to pedestrians and vehicles alike.

A sizable maple tree was removed from along Green Street by professional crews to prevent ongoing public hazards.
