West Virginia State Parks will host First Day Hikes at 24 state parks and forests on Jan. 1 to help visitors kick off 2026 with time spent outdoors.
These free guided hikes are part of a nationwide initiative to bring people together to connect with nature, explore park trails and start the year with fresh air and exercise.
