The Bath Civic Trust, a new local nonprofit incorporated earlier this year, announced the first round of grantees selected at their December 1 board meeting.
Trust board chair, Mary Lynn Hickey, reported that the following organizations will each receive $500: Berkeley Springs Fire Department, Morgan County Public Library, Morgan County Backpacks program, Berkeley Springs State Park Foundation, Morgan County Arts Council, Black Cat Music Cooperative and the Foxglove Garden Club.
