Do you love the smell of apples cooking filling your house? Have a recipe passed down through generations or like to experiment and make up your own? Enter your baking at the 48th Annual Apple Butter Festival Baking Contest! Any recipe that features apples may be entered in the contest. The contest will be run and judged by Blue Ridge Community and Technical College.
Judging will be done in the following seven categories: (1) breads, muffins, rolls; (2) cakes; (3) cookies; (4) pies, pastries, apple dumplings; (5) miscellaneous; (6) sugar free; and (7) youth (grade 8 and below). Contestants may enter as many times as they like.
