Eleanor Jean Effland 1934-2022 Eleanor Jean Effland, age 88, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at War Memorial Hospital. She was born January 3, 1934 in Huntingdon, Pa., the only child of the late Alton Leroy and Hazel Elizabeth Wible Hooper. She was a member of Trinity-Asbury United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and served on numerous committees within the church. Eleanor was also a lay leader.…
