Excitement is building for the Berkeley Springs High School boys soccer program as the Indians prepare to begin the 2026 season under the leadership of first-year head coach Jamie Hiles.
The Indians will hold their first official practice on Monday, August 3, from 6-8 p.m. at the Warm Springs Middle School Soccer Field. Players can expect to begin laying the foundation for the upcoming season as Coach Hiles and his staff introduce team expectations, build chemistry, and begin preparing for competition.Players are reminded to take water and cleats.
The practice schedule will remain consistent throughout the opening weeks of the season, with practices continuing from 6-8 p.m. for the remainder of the first week and throughout the following week.
Coach Hiles is encouraging all interested students in grades 9-12 to come out and compete for a spot on the roster as the program enters an exciting new chapter. Returning players and newcomers alike will have an opportunity to contribute as the Indians work toward a successful fall campaign.
Before participating in any team activities, student-athletes must meet all WVSSAC eligibility requirements. Prospective players must have a signed WVSSAC sports physical on file and maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average for the Spring 2026 semester.
With a new coaching staff, fresh energy and the start of another soccer season just around the corner, the Indians are eager to take the field and begin preparations for what they hope will be a competitive and successful year.
