Seely Foundation gives more than $280,000 to support Morgan County childrens’ programs

The Tom & Virginia Seely Foundation has awarded more than $280,000 in grants to qualified nonprofit organizations serving children throughout Morgan County, continuing a nearly three-decade legacy of support for local youth programs.

Since 1997, the Foundation has invested more than $2.7 million in educational, athletic, social, civic, and community-based programs that create meaningful opportunities for Morgan County children and families.

Children’s programs at the Morgan County Public Library are among the local efforts supported by the Tom & Virgina Seely Foundation.

Tom and Virginia Seely were known for giving generously and without fanfare. Although both have been gone for more than a decade, their kindness, vision, and thoughtful planning continue to strengthen programs that improve the quality of life for children and the broader Morgan County community.
