1958-2026

Brian Dale Cain, age 67, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

Born September 16, 1958 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., he was the son of the late Stanley Leo “Duke” and Phyllis Lorraine McBee Cain.

He was a 1978 class graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.

Dale worked as a prep-cook for the Canary Grill on the Overlook in Berkeley Springs, W.Va. He was an active member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #60, Junior Order of United American Mechanics Council #117, both in Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and the Adopt a Highway Clean Up.

Dale enjoyed cooking, putting puzzles together and spending time with his family.

Dale is survived by his four nieces, April Mae Chapman, Heidi Elaine Chapman, Becky Cain, Rachel Ann Chapman, one nephew, Charles Wellington Camden Chapman, his brother-in-law, Darius Dale Chapman and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by one sister, Debra Lynn Chapman and one brother, Tye Lee Cain.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the Alderton-Dawson American Legion Post #60, 527 N. Washington Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dale’s memory may be made directly to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
