Barbara Gale Fleece

1956-2026

Barbara Gale Fleece, age 70, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Seaton Senior Living in Hagerstown, Md., while under the care of Hospice of Washington County.

Born February 3, 1956 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of Charles Edward “Stoney” and Carole Ann Coffman Fleece.

She was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and worked as an LPN.

Barbara loved cats and dogs and enjoyed being sociable to anyone she met.

Barbara is survived by one niece, Casey Brenneman (Shawn) and one great nephew, Eli Cowles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Theodore Harding; one sister, Cynthia Lynn Fleece and two brothers, Charles Anthony “Tony” Fleece and Brian Scott Fleece.

Services and burial will be private.
