Apple Butter Festival logo contest returns for 2026

The Berkeley Springs–Morgan County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of the Apple Butter Festival Logo Contest, proudly sponsored by SC Studios, as we prepare for the 51st Annual Apple Butter Festival.

This is a chance for artists of all ages and skill levels to make their mark on one of West Virginia’s most beloved traditions.

Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience, if apples are dancing through your imagination, we want to see what you create!

“Each year, this contest brings out so much creativity from our community,” said Executive Director Happy Rone. “The Apple Butter Festival has such a special place in people’s hearts, and it’s always exciting to see how artists capture that spirit in their own unique way.”

The winning design will be featured on official Apple Butter Festival merchandise, making it part of the festival experience for thousands of visitors.

The top three winners will receive cash prizes:

1st Place: $300

2nd Place: $150

3rd Place: $75

The deadline for submissions is May 17. After a panel selects the top designs, the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite.

To enter, artists must complete a release form and follow the design and submission guidelines available on the Chamber website.
