West Virginia State Parks Foundation launches “Mountains are Always Free” Photo Contest

The West Virginia State Parks Foundation has announced the creation of the “Mountains are Always Free” Photo Contest, which will run through the end of February. The contest is intended to showcase the best of winter in West Virginia State Parks, Forests, and Rail Trails.

“West Virginia state park areas are absolutely beautiful in the wintertime,” said Foundation Executive Director Brad Reed.  “Our state is known as a four-season recreational paradise, and we would love to see those gorgeous landscapes and snowy weather family fun captured on film.”
