The Seely Foundation Paradox Fund Principal’s Awards have invested $24,287 in Morgan County Schools this year, supporting outstanding and innovative learning projects across the county. 
Thirty grant proposals were submitted by dedicated teachers and administrators, and sixteen projects were selected for funding, reflecting the creativity and commitment of local educators.
All Grade Levels & Subjects
This year’s awards will benefit students at every level, from elementary to high school, and cover a wide range of subjects:
- Berkeley Springs High School: Robotics, therapy dog training, art collaboration, and forensics field trip.
- Paw Paw Schools: Cereal Box Heroes Biographies.
- Pleasant View Elementary School: Watershed education, Battle of the Books, and a Math Coach program.
- Widmyer Elementary School: Second Grade Take Home Books.
- Warm Springs Intermediate School: Sewing, literacy and virtual learning, and a rainforest study for adaptive special education.
- Warm Springs Middle School: Collaborative fiction writing, math intervention, Holocaust education field trip, and band instrument repair.
The purpose of the Paradox Fund Principal’s Awards is to help Morgan County school educators create meaningful learning experiences beyond standard classroom rote memorization. These projects are designed to engage, empower, and enable students, supporting their growth as learners and community members.
The Seely Foundation Paradox Fund is committed to advancing the use of art, science, technology, and social studies in the daily lives of Morgan County families. The Paradox Fund encourages collaborative, interdisciplinary projects and strives to make a lasting impact on education in the region.
