Slick road conditions in the early hours of Sunday, December 14 contributed to the crash of a tractor-trailer accident in the 13000 block of Valley Road, just north of the Virginia line.
The truck and trailer rolled over onto the western shoulder of the roadway.
The accident closed both lanes of U.S. 522 for close to an hour as the truck was removed.
Snow overnight Saturday and into early Sunday morning plus very cold temperatures created slick roads around Morgan County, and 911 officials reported several accidents due to those conditions.
