After lunch on Monday, December 15, the temperature locally still hadn’t budged past 20 degrees. A few days of below freezing weather held tight, causing a two-hour delay to the start of school on Monday and some cancellations on Sunday morning as wet surfaces froze. By Tuesday afternoon, temperatures rose above 40.
