The Morgan County Preparedness Project, sponsored by the Morgan County Emergency Communications Network, will hold two free trainings this month, offering Emergency Medical Techniques to be used in disaster or other emergency situations. 
The classes will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16 and Saturday, December 20 and will be held at the Berkeley Springs campus of Blue Ridge Community and Technical College at 109 War Memorial Drive.
The same information will be presented at each class.
The class will be led by Art Cucinotta and will cover:
- How to lift and move a patient in an emergency
- How to recognize and treat various types of overdoses
- How to recognize and treat burns

There will be hands-on practice of lifting and moving techniques. Attendees are asked to dress accordingly.
