Berkeley Springs High School freshman Cayden Swink made a strong debut at the West Virginia Class AA State Golf Championships this past week, finishing 17th overall in a competitive field at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling.
Swink, representing the Indians in his first-ever state-level appearance, demonstrated poise and potential well beyond his years. His performance not only earned respect from fellow competitors but also sparked excitement among Berkeley Springs golf fans about what lies ahead.
With three more years of eligibility, Swink has ample opportunity to climb the ranks and etch his name into the school’s golf history.
