What do marching bands, floats, antique cars, community clubs, and fifty years of small-town magic have in common? They’re all lining up for the 50th Annual Apple Butter Festival Parade, and you’re invited to be part of it.
At 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, Berkeley Springs will come alive with music, color, and community spirit as we celebrate half a century of fall fun.
This year’s theme, “A Kettle Full of Memories: 50 Years of Apple Butter Festival,” honors the history and heart of the event that’s been stirring up sweet traditions for so many years.
Whether you’re 5 or 95, there’s a spot in the parade for you! Got a marching band? A classic car you love to show off? A group that loves to dance, march, wave, or ride? Or maybe a float idea that’s been bubbling for decades? Grab your class, your club, your co-workers, your kids, and your grandparents. Everyone’s welcome, and it’s absolutely free to participate. All you have to do is register online at BerkeleySpringsChamber.com.
But don’t wait too long, this is a parade 50 years in the making, and we can’t wait to see how you show up.
The Apple Butter Festival returns to Berkeley Springs October 11-12 with a kick-off celebration in the West Virginia Wine, Beer & Spirits Garden on Friday night, October 10.
