On Saturday, July 12 at about 1 p.m. police responded to a 911 call about a domestic disturbance that occurred around 11 a.m. in the 100 block of Arrowhead Trail in Hedgesville.
Law enforcement officers made contact with the suspect, identified as Justin A. Gould, 40, of Hedgesville.
Gould claimed there was an argument about gambling. Police observed redness on the victim’s neck, according to a criminal complaint filed in Morgan County Magistrate Court by West Virginia State Police Trooper T.E. Short.
Gould was arrested and charged with strangulation. He is incarcerated at Eastern Regional Jail awaiting a hearing.
