Fireworks celebration in Berkeley Springs draws crowds

Travel Berkeley Springs presented their annual free fireworks celebration on Thursday evening, July 3 at Widmeyer Elementary to celebrate the nation’s independence from the British monarchy 249 years ago. Families gathered on the grounds of the school and on surrounding hillsides to take in the public display after dark, with pop-up vendors on hand for extra holiday treats.
