Eleanor K. Mock
1924-2025
Eleanor K. Mock, 101, Windber, Pa., passed away July 3, 2025 in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
Born April 18, 1924 in Conemaugh Township, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Lloyd S. Sr. and Edna (Stahl) Keafer.
Preceded in death by first husband, Earl S. Hostetler; second husband, Robert F. Mock; stepson, Fred Mock; brothers, Dwight Keafer Sr. and Lloyd S. Keafer Jr.; sister, Ann Griffith; and by nephew, Greg Griffith.
Survived by loving sons, David E. Hostetler married to Barb; and Paul R. Mock Sr. married to Raynette; grandchildren, Paul Mock Jr. married to Lauren; Jarrod Mock married to Jennifer; and Meghan Mock married to Jess Alberg; step grandchildren, Tim Mock married to Joey; Jeff Mock married to Amy; Joshua Glass and Kalee Sherrard; great grandchildren, Emma, Brynn, Jaxon, Elissa; Nora and Lucas; brother, David Keafer; step great granddaughter, Lily Mock; step daughter in law, Sandy Mock; also by numerous nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was a faithful member of Scalp Level Trinity and was a self-employed co-owner of Mock’s Greenhouse in Windber for 24 years. Eleanor enjoyed gardening, duck pin bowling, quilting and volunteering for numerous organizations.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 9 from 4-7 p.m. at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home of Windber. Friends received on Thursday, July 10 from 10 a.m. to time of service held 12 p.m. (Noon) at Scalp Level Trinity Church, 751 Horn Road Windber, PA 15963 with her Pastor, Rev. Erica Wellner, officiating. Private Interment at Stahl Mennonite Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to either Scalp Level Trinity or Berkeley Springs Presbyterian Church in her memory.
